How to apply a 301 redirect?

Hello. Who can advise? There is a simple task of changing the old page to a new one. I read everything about 301 redirects, I put them in .htaccess

Redirect 301 /eng/rooms/polulux/ http://www.example.com/eng/service/rooms/

, but nothing happens. When checking the page, it gives 200 and not 301 redirects.
