How to anonymously register a domain in the .ru zone?

What is the danger of registering with fake data? Maybe somehow you can register a domain not with Russian registrars?

Usually, you can provide fake data, but then you will not be able to sell the domain or prove your ownership of the domain (if required).

I registered a domain in the ru zone with a Ukrainian registrar - they require a scan of the passport. But photoshop is here to help. But just what are you looking for? If you post shitty content, then .ru is more likely to be covered up than com/org/net.

History from life.
For six months, they sent me letters from the accounting department of some company to which I had nothing to do with a request to sign documents and send them back. I gave up on it, but then curiosity got the better of me, I called them. What was my surprise when, having introduced myself, they immediately recognized me and asked if I had sent them the documents. To my explanation that I don’t know them, I didn’t conclude a contract, they gave me my full passport details, place of residence and phone number. It turns out that I rented a couple of servers from them and regularly paid for some other services. About a month later I called again to find out the news. I was told that they closed access to the servers and are waiting for a response from the customer. Nobody contacted me anymore. Here is such a story.

Scans, as far as I know, are no longer required.
It is possible to register a domain for “left” data, but then you will not be able to sell it or transfer it to another administrator (the transfer procedure requires a notarized application drawn up by the owner).
In general, if the project is somehow dear to you, register for real data, and close the information through Private Person.
