How to allow a user to access only one folder in CentOS 6?

There is a user in CentOS 6 whose rights need to be restricted. You need to do something similar to FTP - define the user's root directory in the system so that only this directory and its child files and folders are visible. The mention of FTP here is for illustration purposes only.
