Log in to the CRM section as a global administrator.
Select:
- Settings section (via MORE - left panel)
- Forms and Reports Settings section
- Custom fields
- Entity (Contact)
Add field:
- a list of fields will open
- Add field
- Fill in a new card:
- field name
- tick - show in filter
- select the field type from the Yes/No list
- select the default value (No)
- select the external field (Checkbox)
Open the Contacts catalog (the top horizontal CRM ribbon)
- Open the card (with administrator rights)
- Enable the (Change) button in the upper right corner of the left column of the Contact card
- Activate the "Select field" button
- In the list (hidden fields) in the root directory, select the desired field , if the required field is not visible, look at the directories - Others, it hides there.
- The field is dragged with the mouse to the right place in the card
- If the field is required - set the attribute - Show always
- Save changes in the card.
Make the card available to all employees:
- Click on the gear button (upper right corner)
- Make sure that the General view of the card mode is enabled
- Enable the option - set a common card for all employees
- This field can be used in the filtering section for search
2 Way to create a new field and go to the settings:
- select (with administrator rights) the new field button.
- And immediately go to the new field setting mode.
