How to add wrench to mock up?

I made a mock up, I want to add a wrench to the composition, how to do it without resorting to 3d, using photo manipulation in Adobe Photoshop CC 2015? What effects to add to make objects more voluminous?

Actually, as it is usually done - an object is taken, placed on the surface and photographed at the angle we need. Further all in PS.
Or find the object we need on the net, try to change the perspective.
