How to add the nginx-push-stream-module module to an already installed nginx?

Good time everyone!
The essence of the question is, there is Ubuntu 14.04 with VestaCP installed (vestacp is installed immediately in conjunction with apache + nginx proxy), how to add a module for nginx (nginx-push-stream-module) to this system so as not to break anything.
Do not send to Google (it was already there), everywhere they write that you need to download the module, download nginx and rebuild with the module dependency. But this involves reinstalling the entire nginx, and I'm afraid that this will break the entire system, that is, will vesta lose control over nginx and the configs may go astray.
Is it possible to compile the module separately, and show nginx where it is.

Only recompilation. Nginx doesn't yet have dynamic module loading.
Dynamic loading is promised , but it is not known when.
