How to add the necessary screen resolution in Xiaomi laptop?
Given: a Xiaomi Air 13.3 laptop on an Intel i7 stone with Windows 10, with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics card and an external Benq 35 ex3501r monitor with an optimal working resolution of 3440x1440, which is naturally not in the list of proposed ones! The monitor is connected via HDMI. This monitor works fine with a resolution of 3840x2160 (but the picture is very stretched), it does not allow you to add the required resolution through the software from Intel, swears that they say "The user's resolution exceeds the maximum bandwidth."
How do I get the optimal resolution for my monitor?

The answer is my guess, not sure if it will help you 100%
Maybe you need to lower the screen refresh rate (try 24hz). Most likely your laptop has HDMI 1.4, it won't pull your 60Hz resolution. Alternatively, use a USB-C connection (if your model has one)
