How to add the "Groups" object to the object types in AD in Windows 2003 Server?
I want to add other created groups to the group, but when checking the name, the group is not found. The search is performed on the entire domain.
Object types only have Users and Computers, you can add Other Objects and Contacts, and there are no Groups. Tell me how to add Groups to Object Types. I checked all the settings in AD, but I didn't find anything.

Check group types. A group of type distribution cannot be added to a group of type security, and there are restrictions on membership in groups of type domain local. For one forest, I would remake all groups in the global, they are visible throughout the forest and can enter each other.
Something must have broken. If there are no backups, then working with AD with a broken schema can lead to very unpredictable results. It is possible to repair the circuit, but it is not known who has already been done after changing it and how the restoration will affect performance. It is best IMHO to deploy a new AD and move everything there.
PS There is another option that there are no rights and you simply do not see everything.
