How to add selection 2 os?

Good afternoon,
the crux of the matter is. Having previously installed ubuntu next to windows, configured the bootloader using grub customaze (adding menu items and a theme), checked that everything worked as it should, and updated windows ..... and the bootloader does not appear after that, but windows is loaded immediately. ubuntu can be booted through the boot menu, when booting ubuntu, grub appears and the choice of OS.

in what way to me to return a choice of wasps?

@varfi

ubuntu can be booted via the boot menu

Apparently - ubunta on the 2nd disk. And after the update of Windows, the boot order of the disks in the BIOS has gone wrong (which is very strange). To return the hornbeam - change it back - on any normal motherboard, this is done in a couple of clicks.

Googling - How to restore Grub in Ubuntu

1 - the most popular solution is to update and configure grub (2 is already common)
2 - if on different media (hards, ssd) it's ideal just to select the bios (press buttons on any one! ... (just when installing the OS, in the default BIOS it is necessary to install a carrier under this OS
3 - I personally like EasyBCD more (up to 90-99% of the time I live in Windows):
- I update Windows often, because I periodically climb into "insiders"
- when installing Linux, regardless of media, I just put grubs on the Linux partition and not in the MBR (on GPT everything is the same!)
- as a result, a single BCD menu)))
... enjoy (for me personally ...
... try, choose )))
ps!!! nuance!!! time settings!!! more often linux is adjusted to the windows bios time style... moreover, many modern distributions (suse, frdora, even the latest ubuntu releases) automatically adjust if they see that there is a windows...
... my choice - I set windows to linux bios time (didn’t notice a single glitch over the years), but Linux is definitely more sensitive ... they are better in greenwich bios ...
pps: both bcd and grub configs, you can edit the handles ... but this is already different " game level" ;)))
EasyBCD is a good compromise for everyone who "sees better" in the GUI. but in any choice of solution, a basic understanding of the boot process is a must )))
