How to add project release to github pages?

There is a project on github, I made a release, which contains the source code and two executable files, enabled github pages in the settings, chose one of the standard themes and threw the index.md file into the root, but I did not find how to add buttons for downloading files from the release in this topic , only "view on github" appeared.
Does anyone know how to add them?
PS added show_downloads: true to _config.yml, there were buttons for downloading sources, but not binaries, it's better, but still not the same.
