How to add folders\files to the exclusion in Dropbox and mail.ru cloud?

Hello. In my work I use the gulp project builder. All modules are loaded into the node_modules folder, and there, as a result, there are a lot of files, albeit small ones. Because of this, synchronization in dropbox, and especially in the mail ru cloud, is very slow and conflicts often pop up. Maybe there is some way (like the git'a config in the exclude file) how to add certain folders according to the pattern to the download exclusion?
I know about the choice of folders in the program settings, but this is very inconvenient, given the large number of projects and work on 3 machines.
