How to add documents to sitemap correctly?

The question is trivially simple, how to add information about pdf catalogs on the site to the sitemap?
I figured out the pictures and video, but I can’t find how to format the pdf correctly.

What is the difficulty? Just add links to pdf files, format them like regular URLs.
