How to add automatic syntax selection for a specific file extension?
For example, if you open a file with the .ex extension, then the C ++ syntax will be automatically selected (similar to .cpp). Can this be screwed on?

Yes. Open any document with the extension .ex
. View
→ Syntax
→ Open all with current extention as...
→ C++
. .ex
After that , syntax highlighting will be applied to all files with the extension C++
.
Thank you.
