How to add an A-record to Zentyal?

There is a primary domain controller on Win2008R2 std., and a secondary one on Zentyal 4.0 (it was done before me), the secondary domain controller cannot resolve the name of the primary to the address, the address to the name resolves, DNS is obviously based on Samba, along the path /etc/bind/ no db file. domain name , the question is - where can there be a file with A-records, where to add it?

@saag

if you are talking about the /etc/bind/named.conf file, then there is information about the zones ".","localhost","*.in-addr.arpa", as for the zone of my domain, there is nothing in this file

Do you have DNS module installed on Zentyal? If it is installed and configured, you can manually add an entry through the web interface. All configs are in "/etc/bind/" there should be several key named.conf files in which the main zones and everything else are registered. The named.conf.local file is responsible, if I'm not mistaken, for domain zones, direct and reverse. The named.conf.options file is responsible for the settings (ports that the bind listens on, the path to the working folder, external dns, etc.). Also in "/etc/bind/" there should be a db.local file that stores records of local addresses. In theory, with a normally configured DNS module, there is no need to climb into these files and edit them manually. But something tells me that the module is not installed.
