How to add a watermark to an image?

There are 1500 photos with resolution from 300x300 to 3000x3000. How to add one unit to them. watermark? An attempt to add a watermark through Photoshop led to the fact that the same watermark on different photos was either too large, then small, or not in the center. Tried to insert the font and the image, but without results. Found this thing brianium.github.io/watermarkjs/text.html , but no. when I used npm it was the gulp project builder. And then I made the assembler based on the guides, and I didn’t figure out how to do it myself. Documentation is too small and similar for experienced people. This script will not work. it is written in JS and does not watermark the original image, but creates a copy in memory and already watermarks the copy.
