How to add a text block to a directory section?

Hello! I don't know much about bitrix. The bottom line is this, there is a page (catalog) on ​​it with links to other sections, you need to add text under them, but I just can’t find where to do it. There is no editing in infoblocks or content. Where to look? Thank you!

You decide where to add. A page, in the general sense, is just a text page. In the case of a directory, there might be a list of all root-level categories (sections.php), a category (section.php) and an element (element.php). Search and filters are not yet taken into account.
So if, conditionally, you need to place the text on /catalog/ - then place it in /catalog/index.php immediately below the connection of the catalog component.
If you need it in a rubric, then there is a special field for this, already prepared, DESCRIPTION. This is the description if you edit the rubric. And it is displayed in the section template.
If it is in an element, then either use its standard description for the catalog and a detailed description, or add your own field. And this is displayed in the template element
