How to add a key for a specific repository to github?

I don't really understand how to work with keys in github. I was invited to a private repository and allocated a server for development. If I want to deploy git there using my github account should I create a key, add it to github and store it privately on a server that other people have access to? If I understand correctly, they will be able to access my other private repositories.

generate deploy key, they are unique for each repo.
