How to add a fingerprint scanner to biometric devices?

There is an Anviz U-Bio scanner, when connected to a PC in the device manager, it is displayed in the DVD and CD-ROM drive group with the name ANVIZ Smart USB Device. Is it possible to somehow transfer it to the Biometric devices group so that using this scanner you can log in to your account?
Do I need to write a new driver for this?
