How to add a custom field to the Bitrix template settings?

By analogy with WP + ACF, I am looking for an opportunity to bring a custom checkbox type field into the Bitrix admin panel. The idea is to have the value of this field hide\display additional styles in the template.
It is advisable to place it in the template settings. If there are other options how to implement the idea, I will be glad to your advice.
