How to add a CNAME record for the root domain in the Ru-center DNS?

Hello
Problem of the following plan. To set up a root domain such as example.com to work on the heroku application example.herokuapp.com . It is necessary to register a record of the form with the DNS provider company:
Record Name Target
ALIAS or ANAME or @ example.herokuapp.com.

I have a DNS provider, Ru-Center, which, when trying to create this kind of CNAME or DNAME record, says the following: It is not
allowed to use the @ symbol on the left side of a CNAME record RFC 1034, 1035
When I call them, they offer me a service for 150 rubles per year. Is there any other way than to subscribe to the subscription. fee?

No way.
CNAME for the root domain is not possible (if only because it must also have NS records, and CNAME cannot be used together with other records for one fqdn).
ANAME is not a record type. This is a crutch that works like this:
1) you "prescribe" ANAME from the dom1 domain to the dom2 domain
2) someone comes to their dns server to ask for an A record (this is important) for the dom1 domain
3) their dns server resolves A -record for dom2
4) responds to the client from point 2 with an A-record of the dom1 domain, but with a substituted ip from dom2
This already goes beyond "we have a text file", so it's quite fair to take money for this.
I haven't seen anything like this for free on the internet. But doing this on your own DNS servers is not a problem - it will be more expensive if the servers are rented specifically for this purpose.
