How to activate numpad on Windows 8.1 user login screen?

Good afternoon!
The essence of the problem is as follows: if a password is set to enter the profile and it contains numbers, then it will be problematic to type it right away, since the numlock button is disabled by default on the login screen. That is, if you type numbers on the numpad without looking, you will type them nowhere. It would seem that just one more button to press, but if you do it often, it starts to enrage in order.
On the Apple Keyboard I use, this is even more obscure because there is no namlock status diode to even remind you to activate it. Actually, the question is how to make the digital block active? For numlock to be on on the login screen. Of course, this is not the first time the question has been asked.on the Internet (especially in its foreign part, in the Russian segment I did not even meet a discussion of the problem), but I did not find a clear answer, all the advice did not lead to anything.
For example, here is an article that describes two ways to solve the problem - disable fast start (which is unreasonable and I have not tried it), and carry out some fraud with the registry, namely, replace the InitialKeyboardIndicators key in the HKEY_USERS\Default\Control Panel\Keyboard path with what is on "2".
Looking ahead, it didn't help. Initially, I had the value "2147483648" there, which, judging by other sources, is also normal in principle and should activate the numlok on the start screen. I also met advice to replace this number with "2147483650", but this did not help either. Actually, the Internet has run out of options, so I turn to the community for help.
This is obvious, but still anticipating the question - in the BIOS, the status of the namlock is naturally set when loading in the on position. OS Windows 8.1 Enterprise update 1 x64. Desktop PC with the following config . On previous versions of Windows, everything was not observed.
upd: Microsoft Help on InitialKeyboardIndicators . I have "2" written everywhere.

To quote from the Microsoft forum :
Like this. It's not a bug, it's a feature.
With that, my question was closed there. Democratic process. Well, the hamsters also cried, but continued to eat the cactus.
