Task: On the site in the background (in full screen) a video 8-12 seconds long is played and repeated. It is necessary to achieve an optimal ratio of the weight of the video to its quality. I consider acceptable size up to 3 mb for webm format and up to 1 mb for mp4.
Advise, please, a good, free or with a crack, a program in which you can cut and shrink without losing the quality of video formats mp4 or avi.
Then convert to the required formats for html5 (for this, I'm currently using Easy Html5 Video).
