Good afternoon. Installed the google xml sitemap plugin. I didn’t like it and I created a sitemap.xml file in the directory and put all the data that I needed. Now when I go to /sitemap.xml I am redirected to the main page. Then I deleted this file, and it still redirects me to the main page. How to solve this problem?

Hello!
You obviously have a redirect somewhere. I can assume that some plugin automatically creates redirects when changing urls. For example, Yoast SEO
