How to access rails server on Ubuntu on VMware virtual machine through windows browser?

I use Windows 10. I installed Ubuntu 14.04 on the VMware virtual machine. I want to work with a RoR project on Windows, and keep the server on Ubuntu. I managed to share the files, but I can’t get access to Ubuntu localhost from a browser on Windows.
