How to access 1C database via http request?
Is it possible to somehow write a web server that receives a certain request format, accesses the 1C database and returns the contents of the database in response? Example: I send a GET request like ?category_name=furniture and receive an XML/JSON response with a product category in response. Interests how to connect the server with basis. By the way, I don’t understand 1C from the word at all)

If you do not understand, then outsourcing to help.
But if there is a desire to understand, then here are a couple of thoughts.
1) 1C works with both IIS and Apache (which is the first, that the second does not need to be configured much). That is, the WEB server is already ready.
2) 1C has a standard ODATA protocol, you can read it on ITS. Everything comes through him.
3) 1C has HTTP services and WEB services. Through them, you can give anything at all upon request ...
Well, as you understand, each item requires knowledge =)
In 1C, it is possible to create HTTP services that are suitable for solving your problem.
