How to accept donations for a small game server in Ukraine with Paypal?
The essence of the problem:
- there is a mmorpg game that brings a small income (up to $ 800 per month)
- there is a would-be administrator from Ukraine
- 50% of players from the CIS (there are no problems with accepting payments for CIS citizens, because we use an analog of a robokassa)
- 50% from abroad who cannot make donations (they only need Paypal)
- It is impossible to accept Paypal in Ukraine (legally)
Need to:
- Make it so that it would be possible to receive game donations from foreign players on paypal, followed by cashing out received funds, taking into account the specifics of Ukraine.
What was done:
- A cursory and confusing study of information on:
- Payoneer
- 2Checkout (a lot of bad reviews lately)
-- Articles on Habré with ways to receive payments for Ukraine (alas, this shop has already been closed).
- Different "divorce" schemes, which are not even paid attention to.
I know that there are "savvy" people who can accept payments for freelancing in Ukraine, but a personal meeting with an old friend who "knows the schemes" will take place only in a couple of months, and the problem needs to be solved since January 2014)
I have huge hopes that this situation is familiar to freelancers in Ukraine, and that solutions to this problem have already been invented earlier.
I really hope for your help.

In general, after more than three years since the beginning of the search for the possibility of accepting paypal for a project with a small turnover (up to $ 2k) per month, certain conclusions have been formed:
The possibility of accepting Paypal payments in Ukraine is completely absent.
The fastest and most realistic way is to open a bank account in another (neighboring) country and tie a stick to it. It will be cheaper(!) and safer than all other ways to receive funds. I advise you not to trust any intermediaries. There are no automated exchangers.
I found a way out in the imposition of bitcoin, but the convenience of acquiring such leaves much to be desired.
Fortunately, you can buy it in every terminal.
