How relevant is it to use the ::ng-deep css modifier in angular 6?

I need to remove some of the css from encapsulation.
I read back in ng4 that the ::ng-deep, /deep/ modifier will soon become obsolete, and it was swearing in the console (it doesn’t swear now). Already the 6th version. How rational is it to use now? Maybe there is a new way?
PS I see no reason to change ViewEncapsulation for one rule.
