How realistic is it to learn SWIFT if you have never learned programming?

Hello! I am an experienced PC and MAC user but have never studied programming. In 2001, I learned HTML but immediately abandoned it. The desire to learn a programming language and create games is incredibly strong, but when I open XCODE, I think that all this is very difficult. Of course, I do not want to create super complex games, but rather simple ones like Flappy Bird. How realistic is it to learn SWIFT on your own?

Learning a programming language is not a "you'll have to kill hundreds of years of meditation on this" kind of thing. If there is a desire, then in a month or two you will master the basic functions of the language. Articles, tutorials, search engines, training videos on YouTube will give you everything you need. You are unlikely to become a cool coder without a big investment of time, but you can write your own simple game.
And don't try to master the interface of cumbersome Xcode, VS or Qt, now you just need to know how to create a project, a separate file, how to run a written program, that's all. Over time, you will find a use for the rest and start using it.

How difficult is it to cook borscht? In 2001, I tried to cook scrambled eggs, but immediately abandoned it.
Difficult\Easy understanding is subjective. You have to take it and try it.
If you think that you can write a clone of Doodle Jump in a couple of days, then I will upset you.

Swift includes Procedural Programming, OOP, Generics (template C++), Functional Programming and a whole lot more. This is not mastered in a few months (years). And in order to write games, you need even more knowledge, so I would suggest you start with mundane things, with the C language, for example, and then look at the situation.

Why Swift? As far as I understand, you are going to create games. Maybe you should look towards game engines? For example, the same Unity3d, which became free, plus you will get the advantage of developing not only on Mac / Ios, but also on other platforms.

For games, of course, Swift alone is unlikely to come in handy. Need more knowledge.
Well, yes, as already said, in a month or two you can easily go through the basic functions of the language. Full of courses and tutorials, tutorials on YouTube. If no one will help you, then at least learn the basics. And at least make some project.
Xcode, VS is, of course, cool, but start with the basics.
