How promising is it in Russian cities to use drones to deliver various goods?

Not so long ago I read in the news that Amazon began to deliver some goods to customers using drones. How promising is this topic in Russian cities? For example, starting with small cities, such as Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Samara?
I do not mean those drones whose movement is controlled by artificial intelligence. But rather those that can be controlled at a great distance.
Are there any risks? And in general, what are the minuses and poles in this? Surely "purchased" implementations of drones are not suitable for such purposes, but most likely you will need your own implementation.
And yet - are there such "startups"? And didn't they collapse?

Are there any risks?

It seems to me that in our country the level of culture of the population is not yet ready for this. And I'm not talking about bureaucracy, although you can't do without it. And not about the grandmothers at the entrances, who will have an attack if a flying saucer descends from the sky. There will definitely be those who want to douse drones with paint, throw bottles at them, shoot from pneumatics or try to catch them in a net and drag them away like a trophy. After all, the probability of getting a bat in response is minimal, cover your face - and go ahead. Everyone in this country steals. At my grandfather (in the suburbs) at night someone steals firewood. The most common birch firewood. Pieces of wood. Pieces. tree. I think in such a society stealing a drone is a feat that the local population will make legends about.
But it's worth a try. The market for such services is empty, if you manage to enter now, you can capture most of it.

I think drone delivery is the future. I cannot say how far it will be in our country. As far as I know, there will be certain incentives in their legalization and official entry into the "legal field". Now, for the most part, this will be perceived by the regulatory authorities as evil, because. It is impossible to trust our citizens uncontrollably. BUT you can become pioneers in this matter and in some way theoretically even influence the creation of a legislative framework: please treat it without laughing :-). It will go faster if, in addition to the passion for the digital economy, there is also a passion for this. And so go ahead, in any case, once again I repeat this is the future and no one can get away from this.
