How profitable is it to work remotely with customers from Germany?
Germany is now essentially the second economy in the world. Although the Germans know English quite well, how interesting is it for them to work with remote developers from other countries in their native language? I see at least three arguments to look for a remote job in Germany:

I tried. So far there has not been a single client from Germany. Most German companies are looking for employees in the office. Either they like it better, or there are closer contractors from the eurozone countries (this way it is somewhat easier and / or clearer for them in terms of tax legislation and calculations). But what is certain is that the German language will be needed. You can only get hired with English only with relocation and office work, if the company really wants you. Google "Remote Arbeit für Programmierer"
I worked with a customer from Germany (Russian speaking), he is an intermediary (php e-commerce area). Everything is very good. There are enough orders if you also know German, it will just be gorgeous)
I was on vacation in Germany and they know English well there, where did you get the information that they don’t speak it well?)
I made a micro order (2 days) remotely. Found through friends. I asked for a very small price, $ 15 per hour, because I made a mistake, and then it was inconvenient to negotiate again. In comparison with Russian customers, this is of course much better - a very polite attitude, no bargaining at the final price. The task was set exactly, all the tools were adjusted, I worked through RDP. It can be seen that they have money, because. in principle, such work could be scored, without it it would be a ride. They hire all sorts of remote workers, including Indians, while the code is more or less suitable, although the application is old. I tried to learn German, it is very difficult - either a career or German. My English is fluent and technical. Of the minuses - they fiddled with the network setup for a long time and put off the order.
In Germany, there is a lot of high-tech related to real production - a variety of pattern recognition, machine control, but I doubt that anyone will transfer such work to a remote location.
