How often do you use preprocessors for layout?

Hello everyone, I'm a beginner layout designer, I would like to know from professionals how often do you use preprocessors to layout a layout for a specific design ??? I'll be glad to read your answers

Mostly in rather big projects (I see no reason to use business cards for small landing pages or 5 page sites, etc.). In general, I think it should be used where there is a need to use the advantages of preprocessors and their use is significant.
