How not to lose the general meaning when automatically translating individual phrases?

Good afternoon,

There is an idea to make automatic translation of titles that are shown to the user in phrases.
On my side, the translation is set up via the Google Translation API. But if the titles are translated phrase-by-phrase, then the general meaning of the sentences is distorted.

I can translate whole sentences, but then how can I match the resulting translation with each specific caption phrase?

Maybe someone faced a similar problem? Interesting solutions.
