How much will changes in the "portfolio" block affect indexing in search and other SEO processes?
Hello SEO experts. My urgent question concerns your industry, in which I understand little. Our web studio is currently developing a website. The TOR was not initially drawn up, since the Customer did not know exactly what he wanted to receive as a result. The designer has his own opinion, which we all respect, but it so happens that one of his decisions in the "Portfolio" block seems to all of us not very successful. The layout designer suggested replacing the entire block with this one - agragregra.github.io/demos/wp-landing-frontend(see portfolio). We decided now not to resort to such radical decisions, since, there is no TK anyway, and we are already a little tired of finishing everything on our knees. And the idea is the following - for post-production, to collect a normal technical specification for the revisions for the site. One of them will be redesigning the appearance of the portfolio block, and the question is, how can this affect indexing by search engines? How many steps back will this take us back in terms of SEO? Is it generally dangerous to change the appearance of the portfolio block? As I understand it, nothing terrible should happen, since there is no key content for search engines, but I want to know the opinion of the master.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

And the idea is the following - for post-production, to collect a normal technical specification for the revisions for the site.In other words, you want to "shit" yourself in your pocket both from the side of the client, his site users, but also from the side of search engines.
