Prots can up to 16GB.
The manufacturer claims that only 8GB.
This means that there is a chance that two slats of 8GB
SSD of any sata version will start up. Ideally, change the system disk to an SSD, and transfer the HDD to optibay

This laptop will not be able to detect more than 8GB of RAM. If you put more, then it will most likely overwrite the address space allocated for the video and the matrix will start showing either just a black screen or miracles, but not showing what you need.
