How much load can Heroku withstand?

What is the capacity of the server, how many files can be uploaded there, how many simultaneous requests can it withstand? I need to upload a website for a contest that will be able to host moderators, juries and many participants at the same time, who will upload their images and videos to the contest. Should I bother with heroku or take another server? If the latter, which one would you recommend?
