How much does a website earn from Google Ads?
The question is certainly slippery, but nevertheless I will try to formulate the essence of the question.
Let's say I have a website on which 10-20 articles are posted per day, the articles are unique and written by hand, everything is according to standards, that is, SEO is at the level.
And now the questions that I had when connecting Google advertising:
How long will it be in the "sandbox"?
How quickly will he pick up "traffic"?
Approximately how much is the benefit from advertising? (approximate income per number of visitors)
Of course, many people can immediately say something like "depending on what kind of information is on the site", "depending on how the SEO is configured", "depending on how the advertising is configured", etc.
The question is to those who are involved in these and can roughly say - how long does it take to promote, what is the approximate income, etc.
Also not against advice on these issues.
Ps - earlier I just dealt with only closed projects, but now I decided to try it, I would like to hear some basic information, so to speak...

3 years ago I made a website about animals. As a matter of fact - articles and the description of breeds. People began to come in about six months later, but at first very little due to the fact that I did not know how to make headlines, etc., because it was a developer, not a SEO specialist. Now the attendance is a little more than 200 uniques per day (I have 150 articles, about a hundred breeds), there is Adsense, but pennies are dripping for advertising (for example, today I earned 5 cents). Moreover, Adsense has a withdrawal threshold of $100. It's still hoarding and hoarding.
In short, making an article, in my opinion, is a pointless undertaking, at least for now. The exhaust from this is a penny, and soon you will get tired of writing articles in any case. If you buy them, then in the future it will still not pay off soon. Moreover, if you buy ten articles a day, it will be quite expensive. But I got knowledge from this site (Django and React, with which it was made), which brought me and bring money on freelance projects, which is also not bad. As a result, I don’t plan to close the site, I’m finalizing it a little bit (it’s just interesting to me) - maybe in the future I’ll come to something, because traffic is growing, albeit slowly. But the income from Adsense advertising is a penny (even if traffic grows 5 times), I don’t think it’s worth focusing on this at all.
It depends very much on the topic, in different topics in different ways, the difference can be dozens of times. Expensive: cancer treatment, construction, auto, law, equipment sales, business, tourism, etc. But entertainment - there is already almost zero or so.
If you are seriously counting on decent income from informants, then this is an erroneous approach to monetization. Income from Google advertising has been declining catastrophically for a year already... look towards products and the sale of eternal links, it will be much more, especially if you decently upgrade the puzomerki, here the price of a link is also significantly different.
It all depends on visits. Some articles will give zero activity, some shoot for the top. As a result, even monitoring statistics does not really give anything. Articles on similar topics can drastically differ in traffic. The main task is to increase the number of visitors.
In the Russian segment, at best, tens of cents per thousand views. Most often it is 0.08-0.12 dollars from 1000 views.
If the site is ordinary and is not included in the circle of favorites like habr, then it takes half a year to promote it. So that the search engine determines the niche and embeds most of the pages in the index. But you need to take into account that there are already favorites in the niche and their pages in the issue will be higher. You need to look for exclusive topics or cover topics with more user-friendliness than others already have.
I launched my last information site half a year ago in the education segment. I don't do promotion at all. It now has about 4,000 articles. Of these, 3,500 are already in the index. The site is hung with advertising from Google and partners Google adx. Attendance is about 1500 unique per day. Income 40-50 dollars a month. One article on average brings 0.01-0.02 dollars per month. That's all the arithmetic.
90,000 rubles were invested in the content of the site. Payback will be more than 5 years. Get out of this market man. He's overheated to death.
Niche "Creation, promotion, monetization of the site" - $ 1 per day, from 1000 c.p. per day.
