How much does a 4-10 unit switch consume under heavy load?
Gentlemen-comrade colleagues!
I'm interested in how much an "adult" switch like cisco 4xxx or cisco 6xxx 4-10 units high can REALLY consume? Suppose we have a 6503 in the server room with 3 slots for 48 ports. Loading constant on ports and utilization of ports - 80%. How much will such a piece of iron eat?

No, but what do you think, why do they need different power supplies with different ratings? Clog the entire board with optical 10GE modules, the consumption will be high, the power supply will not withstand it, you will change it to a more powerful one. This applies to everything: POE boards have their own maximum consumption, service processors have their own, DWDM boards have their own, and so on. If you want statistics in the conditions that you described, then from 300 watts to 24 kilowatts.
If it’s about your 3RU switch, then in cases of AC power supply, provided there are no optical modules and PoE power supply, when using an old processor, it will consume 600 watts. For more details, open the hardware installation guide for each board and see its specifications.
