How long will it take to develop?
Dear friends, I have a few theoretical questions for you... Due to the huge amount of free time I have, I decided to study programming languages... Before that, as a hobby, I was closely involved in graphics and creating layouts of various interfaces, but now I want to do something of my own . Not so much for making money, but for the soul, so that there is somewhere to go in old age, so to speak)) And to create, create and be at the head of all this is the best feeling on earth, as for me ...
I always had a craving for programming languages, but I couldn't decide... I still think that I have a far from mathematical mindset, so I decided to start with "simple" PHP. I hope you stop joking that PHP is not a programming language and don't tell anyone that you are a PHP programmer - for me even this language is given with great difficulty, which sometimes gives up, but a huge craving for the desire to create still makes me fight in closed the door))
I actually bought the course, I sit and watch the video - I repeat the same tasks several times, something is postponed. But the further the study goes, the more questions arise in my head:
1) Is it possible to make a good enough site only in HTML, CSS and PHP? Without JavaScript - because learning it for me will be a clear stress.
2) If not, is it too difficult to understand this language if you understand php relatively well? Or is it possible to google the necessary information - insert it and forget it?
3) How long does it take to develop a good website? Not business cards, but fully automated, without using a ready-made framework, purely from scratch, given the fact that creating a design is not a problem and this item does not go into the calculation of time. To one, not very quick-thinking, simple person. Here is habr'a functionality, but not on such a large scale, of course ... Let's just say, at least half of this functionality, of course, without a mobile version, etc.
Is it worth it to continue studying or are these all ghostly dreams about some kind of project of your own ...
Like, if you devote 3-4 hours every day, in how many months can this be realized?
And one more thing... I just understand that it makes no sense to take on a large project immediately after training, because you are unlikely to pull it and you will have to develop something simpler for some time, for experience, ala an online store and so on .. And this time can be six months or a year? Or how much is needed so that you can write code almost intuitively ... Now, if I can easily develop a good online store from scratch in a week, will I be able to implement something else or will my knowledge be as limited as possible? This question is very scary :(
Thank you in advance for your answers and your time spent.

no one will answer this question - everything is too individual. what one will take a few hours, another will take a few days/weeks.
As for js, then of course you can create a site without it. but it's better with him.
Now, if I can easily develop a good online store from scratch in a week, will I be able to implement something else or will my knowledge be as limited as possible?when you can, then ask yourself a similar question. only then it will no longer have any meaning or need.
