How long does it take to publish on Google Play?

Bottom line:
All flooded. All screenshots, *.apk file and for the 4th day now I see "PREPARING FOR PUBLISHING" and "Processing update ...".
This is fine? Where to apply? I did not find the support mail as well as the phone.

UPD: And if all this really lasts up to a month, can I roll out updates? Will it drag out the whole process?

Fine. The first publication can be issued a month. The next ones will be shorter.
