How is win server 2k8 standart licensed under hyper-v?

Good afternoon. There is a dell server with an oem license for a 2K8 standart server. If you install Hyper-V Server from ms on this server and throw 2K8 into the virtual machine, will the license be picked up? How many such virtual machines can be raised under a license? I can't find info at all.

For Windows Server 2008 Standard, one license is one instance (physical or virtual). The license is not automatically picked up, it must be activated.
PS This version is no longer supported, do not use it.
