How is the transfer of the site to the customer?

I am a beginner web developer. I have an order for an online store. I made it on OpenCart, made everything up, entered the goods into the database, checked everything, tested everything, everything works. But everything works on my computer through Open Server.

How now to upload the site to the hosting and transfer it to the customer? Everything suits him, the stage of a bunch of edits has already been passed.

Theoretically, I understand that I upload everything to the hosting, connect the domain and give the customer logins and passwords. But how should I pay for hosting and domain purchase, what data should I use to register an account on hosting (my own or the customer's)? In short, I feel a lot of pitfalls and I would like to receive some instructions.

Thanks in advance :)

The customer must deal with the hosting himself and send you access details.

Depends on the customer. If the customer is a complete layman in IT and has no idea what hosting is, then this is how it is done.
0. Funds are received for the work done.
1. Passport data of the customer is requested, a domain is issued in his name and hosting is purchased (for a separate temporary email), you need to do this together with the customer (if the customer lives in another city, then Skype has not been canceled yet).
2. The resource is transferred to the customer's hosting, the last edits are made.
3. Get paid for migration and deployment. Give away hosting keys.
If the person understands the process, then take the payment, then give the dumps. Filling, installation and setup for separate money on an advance payment.

Not the first year of freelancing. There are different customers. There were many who, after transferring the site / checking, changed passwords for the host and did not pay for the work. How I got out of this situation:
1. I request data from the hosting
2. I upload the site, with a shell hidden in the php folders
3. If the customer "throws" me, I delete all site files through the shell. If the work is paid for, I go to the shell and add auto-delete of the shell to the cron after 1 minute.
Good luck with your projects

If the client does not know how to register hosting, do it for him, indicating his data (after all, he will own the site, pay for hosting and monitor his work). If you can, just request access.
Personally, I prefer that he enter all the personal data himself and bind the mobile - I don't need them.
It is better to tell if there are difficulties at some stage of registration.

Everything is different here. Someone keeps a bunch of sites on their hosting, including registering domains for themselves. If you constantly support the customer's site - a normal option. You can register domains for the customer's data and hosting for yourself. Everything can be customized..

For a web developer, 9im.ru hosting is ideal , as it allows you to change the owner of the domain without too much hassle (just write a technical support ticket).
Now about the customer!
If at the stage of approval and acceptance of the work the customer is satisfied, you can safely conduct a transaction through Telderi.ru and through this auction transfer the "keys" from the hosting on which the domain is registered and the client's account is located.
