How is the sending of account registration verification emails organized?

I made a variant of either nodemailer through a free Google account. Most emails are sent without errors and remain in the sent history.

But according to the statistics from the database, 40% -50% of users have not verified their mail.

What gets into spam is fine, but there are many complaints that the letter does not reach at all.

I would like to know how this is done correctly - so that about 100% of letters reach at least the spam folder.

Send via mailgun or amazon ses and all emails will not be in spam and everything will be fine
