How is the search done on the toaster?

It is the backend that is of interest .. I don’t think that with every letter entered in the search string, it fumbles the database, probably requests are cached somehow, but how can it be on the other hand .. In general, I’m waiting for your suggestions!

No. It does not pull the database, it pulls the memory using elasticsearch or a similar engine

Previously, they mentioned that they use SphinxSearch to search on Habré.
It is possible that it is still used on Habré and on the Toaster.
Or ElasticSearch

Perhaps the Stumper API will be useful for such purposes.
With constant updating (after a single creation) of a full-mesh "tree" on your side, you can quickly find the content you need using the search bar.
