How is the "Now Watching" parameter on youtube counted?

Hello!
Can you please tell me how the parameter "Now watching" on youtube is considered? Who is counted?
Do robots count or do they not go there?
And if a person opened a video in several tabs, is it one online viewing or several?

In fact, the built-in YouTube analytics (as I understand you are talking about it) does not show the "true" value of all views for a given second.
Firstly, the page itself is updated every 10 seconds.
Secondly, there is a ping from YouTube to you +- milliseconds (from good ~20 to average ~150)
Thirdly, there are some cookies, cross-links inside the Google search engine (your Googlemail and letters, circles in Google+, requests to Google from you in the form of a search, and in general everything you can imagine).
Fourthly, as I understand it, you have an interface in Russian as in my screenshot? If so, then the translation here is not entirely successful, in the original - Estimated watch count (predicted - not exemplary, but in your case there is no difference).
Fifthly, there is a so-called. chaos theory or if you want another analogy - a deck from MTG which I played 6-8 years ago TEPS (The extended perfect storm) for a person who is just getting acquainted with the game, it is completely incomprehensible how she can win. But she just puts the pieces of the puzzle together, if we live to the moment when it is already clear what kind of picture the puzzle is - a victory. In the real world, no one knows how many pieces (views) you need, because money is not paid for views :)
Content profitability analytics on a resource like youtube is either immediately obvious - tens to hundreds of thousands of views in the first 24 hours or a complex combination of advertising tools and flair, which I do not have - and thank God, let's leave it to the SEO magicians.
My advice, if something really delivers to you and you think that you can already do something, then just keep doing it, just if you want to be on TV, then you should not ask the question here.
Hope it helps.
Always yours, the eternally tin man from the caliper.
