How is the internet speed?

There will be no such speed :) Tembolee with home Internet. No speed outside your router (LAN) is guaranteed. Maybe it will be 10 megabits, maybe 1000. This is already random.
If you really need it, then send a ping to the server, then find the speed as 188/latency (bytes / s).
the speed after your provider depends on other providers through which access to the server will go.
For example, I have a server in Germany, there is gigabit. my provider = 100mb, I have just 100 mb to the server.
The client (he has Rostelecom), from 10 to 50 .... something like this, while at the client's tariff 200mb)))) (gaming tariff).
Well, it also turned out that RT, for example, cuts the speed into one stream up to about 33mb ... moreover, they didn’t get an answer from those.
How to calculate the approximate speed You were answered above.
Well, or download the file from the server, what thread and look at the speed)
In the global network there is no concept of guaranteed speed, especially over the hill.
Even if you measure the speed at one point in time, then no one guarantees that in the next second the traffic will not go by another route or another 100500 of the same wants will not get on this route.
No, well, of course, you can pervert and buy a full L2-L3 tunnel with QOS from server to server, but it won’t cost earthly money.
