How is the grid implemented?

Hello everyone)

The customer wants to make a similar grid on the site, as here: secretmag.ru, but I can’t understand how it is implemented. I looked at html, first large blocks are displayed, then medium ones, then those with gray icons. Judging by the css, all blocks have an absolute position, and coordinates are written for each, but something is hard to believe that this was all done manually ...

Maybe someone knows what plugin is used there? Or maybe it's some special css framework?

Not exactly the same, but on the topic:
1. Masonry
2. You can take any grid, from Bootstrap for example, or any other ready-made
