How is the full capacity of a hard drive formed in RAID?

RAID 5.
There are 3 disks 36.4 Gb and 3 disks 300 Gb. When combined in RAID 5, a logical disk with a capacity of 169 Gb was formed.
What have I done wrong?

In vain shoved small disks into an array. Got 5*36.4GB instead of 2*300GB.
