How is the computational power of a grid network correctly calculated?

Tell me, how is the computing power of a grid network calculated correctly? Just the sum of the computing power of each element, or a more cunning formula?

In the ideal case, Amdahl's Law is used , but it does not take into account communication overhead, cache coherence, features of pipelined computing with their optimizations. Well, there is also the Gustavson-Barsis Law , which is similar in principle, but probably more suitable for your task.
In general, too many factors affect performance, including the noisiness of communication channels with energy fluctuations from fluttering butterflies in the tropics. Any model will describe performance very superficially.
