How is the android system locked at the system level?

I want to get root access to my device. Since I am a linux user, linux users will only be able to answer my question. Has anyone figured out how android works inside. I want to first learn about the structure of this system, so that later I can already think about getting root access. How is the android system arranged, is it closed or open? How does the system start? Where to read about it? I can’t ruin it, I’ll have to cut 100+ requests, so I ask you to respond, maybe someone has already come across a similar issue?

Understanding how everything is arranged there is certainly good, but here I think I started from the wrong place. You just need to look for information on how exactly your particular smart is rooted, or if the phone is rare, how your version of Android is rooted, I'm sure that in the end it will be an "instruction" of a maximum of 5 simple operations.
