The previous 4th edition was published in 2009 and covered the use of Python 2.6 and 3.0. The fifth edition was completed in 2013 and covers Python 3.3 and 2.7. It includes all language changes since the previous edition.
In particular:
Also added is a chapter on the evolution of Python, a chapter on benchmarking, and two additional appendices (about the latest changes in Python and a new launcher (?) for Windows).
And the test shot: 5th Edition is a bit bigger as it takes a closer look at advanced features of the language that were previously ignored.

If according to Python, then at least these 4 != 5

If only Lutz hadn’t run around with this useless 2nd Python, it would have been awesome!
